CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Over the past six years, a campaign from Attorney General Peter Kilmartin's office, Rhode Island State Police, and AT&T has gone out to high schools across Rhode Island, telling new and soon-to-be drivers how dangerous distracted driving can be.
That selfie? The text from your best friend, or your boss?
"It Can Wait," the presentation is titled, and Wednesday morning, Kilmartin's office hosted its last iteration, having ended where it was launched in September 2012, at Cranston High School East, with the class of 2019.
