UConn to Power Stamford Lab with 5G Connectivity

The AT&T 5G+ network will allow the university to advance academic programs in entrepreneurship and innovation.
This week, the University of Connecticut (UConn) made a major 5G announcement.

UConn Stamford will become one of the first college campuses in the Northeast region to adopt AT&T’s 5G+ and Multi-Access Edge technology to power its Entrepreneurship & Innovation Co-op and Data Science Incubator.

What does this mean? UConn Stamford is strategically bringing 5G capabilities on campus. The AT&T 5G+ network will allow the university to advance academic programs in entrepreneurship and innovation, open avenues to new cutting-edge research, and explore new 5G use cases that could attract, grow and transform companies. In UConn’s hands, ultra-fast, reliable connectivity will open doors of opportunity for students, faculty, businesses, and the community, enabling innovation in countless areas.
