Connecticut state Rep. Caroline Simmons joined AT&T Connecticut on Wednesday to bring the AT&T "IT CAN WAIT" distracted driving program to students at Westhill High School.
Students were led in an interactive discussion about the dangers of distracted driving, and watched a powerful documentary presented by AT&T that shows the potentially deadly consequences of glancing at your phone while behind the wheel.
Wednesday's event was part of the AT&T national "IT CAN WAIT" campaign, which has encouraged more than 11 million people around the world to never text and drive.
